Who we are...

Life Lifting Hands, Inc. is a non-profit organization that was established by Rwandans, (and American friends) who lost many of their loved ones during the most barbaric and inhuman killings of the last century that took place in Rwanda in 1994. About 1 million innocent lives perished in the 100-day tragic events, as the world watched, leaving behind hundreds of thousands of widows and orphans.

Life Lifting Hands, Inc. was federally recognized as a non-profit public charity in 2005. Contributions to our programs are tax deductible.

MISSION STATEMENT

Life Lifting Hands, Inc. is committed to promoting the well being of underprivileged individuals, families and communities through concrete actions for income generation, education opportunities, and healthful living by accessing clean and safe drinking water.

LLH works closely with the populations and authorities at the grass root level to carry out initiatives designed to alleviate poverty, and to achieve positive, sustainable change leading to people's self-sufficiency and empowerment.

LLH seeks to reflect the love of God for all people by extending a helping hand to those in need, without regard to origin, tribe, religion or political affiliation. It offers an opportunity for those with more resources to give back on behalf of those who are less fortunate.
